I caught another good shot of Phil this year on Nick-a-Jack. Although, he wasn't quite panting as hard as he was last year.

Levi on Nick-a-Jack

Levi whipped by us on Nick-a-Jack and was dancing on the pedals at this first switchback. Wasn't too crowded down here but the top switchback was crazy crowded.

Why Levi received a birdhouse for winning the IIT, I'll never know.

Brasstown Bald 2007

Here's a shot of Danielson at the front of the peloton with about 4k to go on Brasstown Bald today.

For more great shots from the Tour de Georgia, head over to flickr and look at the 2007 Tour de Georgia Pool. If you've got shots from the '07 TDG, then share them on flickr and add them to the 2007 Tour de Georgia Pool.

Here's one of my shots from yesterday on the ITT. Pavel Brutt of Tinkoff is in a bit of pain up Nick-a-Jack.

Tyler's back.

Kudos to Frank over at the Tour de Georgia Blog for nabbing this great shot of Tyler. See you on Nick-a-Jack Frank . . . and Tyler.

HERE COME BIKES

Here is the first of many shots to come from the Tour de Georgia.

I sure wish I was there. I'll be on Nick a Jack tomorrow for the ITT. I'll have plenty of shots of my own to share in the coming days.

I love a good black and white shot. I think wolfey nailed this one!

BMC Working Hard

Awesome shot! There are so many things right with this shot. Everyone that's going down to the Tour de Georgia take note:

Focus? Spot on.

Composition? Just look at how the shot is framed by the road and the trees on each side and above.

Saturation? Check out those rich colors.

Contrast? The subjects (riders) just pop right out of the photo.

Depth of field? Just right. The riders up front really grab your attention. The riders in the back are so in focus to distract from the leaders, but aren't so out of focus that it breaks up the peloton. You can still tell what it is.

Lighting? The lead riders are well lit instead of hidden in shadows.

Great job!

I think I'd ask for the 14.

Road Rash?

Makes me want to stick to singletrack. I've gone flying off my mountain bike plenty of times. Dirt's gotta be a lot softer than pavement. Honestly, I've never gone down on my road bike and really don't want to.

Right turn . . . coming up.

Floyd Landis v. Tom Danielson Redux

Here's the latest and greatest from last Spring's Tour de Georgia. As you can see, this is Landis and Danielson rounding the final switchback before the cattle gates on Brasstown Bald. I wonder what next year will bring on this turn....

Sugar Shots are Done!

Style Points!

Yeah, ok, it's been over 5 months . . . I know, I know.

But, in my defense, there were a thousand shots or so to deal with.

I just uploaded the last 131 shots. They're all up and in the galleries now. Enjoy!
